We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team and ensure the efficient and compliant operation of our public equity fund.

Job Description:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the public equity fund. This includes managing trade settlements, maintaining accurate records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and working closely with custodians and other service providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund operations, excellent organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
• Trade Settlement and Reconciliation: Ensure timely and accurate settlement of all trades, and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Custodian and Broker Coordination: Liaise with custodians and brokers to manage trade executions, resolve issues, and ensure smooth operations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations and internal policies. Assist with audits and regulatory reporting as needed.
• Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and holdings. Prepare regular reports for management and investors.
• Cash Management: Oversee the management of cash flows, including investor subscriptions and redemptions. Monitor and follow up on corporate actions deadlines (dividend proceeds, rights issue, and other corporate actions).
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Risk Management: Monitor operational risk and implement measures to mitigate potential risks.
• Performance Tracking: Calculate the performance of the fund and prepare reports as required.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in fund operations, preferably within a public equity fund.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using financial software and systems, with a strong understanding of trade settlement processes.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
